Why we require End User/End Use Statement for every export order

An End-User Statement is a signed document used in international trade, especially for sensitive or "dual-use" goods (items with both civilian and potential military applications), where the buyer confirms the product's intended use, identifies the final recipient, and pledges to comply with U.S. export laws to prevent diversion, misuse, or re-export to unauthorized parties. It is a compliance tool used in export control.

We always require an End Use/End User Statement as part of our due diligence as an exporter. The statement also allows us to obtain additional information about the customer and to check whether a customer's stated end-use for the exported products raises any red flags.

We require every customer for every order to certify that they will not use the exported products in a manner that violates U.S. export laws or reexport or transfer those products to Restricted Parties — persons, entities or destinations prohibited from receiving them.

We require an End Use/End User Statement even for fasteners that are generally low-technology items that do not require a license in most situations.
